WebMar 2, 2024 · Thanks to recent legislation, parts of CalFresh have been tailored to meet the specific needs and experiences of college students, allowing eligible students to receive up to $192/month for groceries. Most students qualify for CalFresh if they have work study, receive CalGrant A or B, have a child, or work over 20 hours per week outside of UCLA. WebCalFresh, AKA SNAP, has certain criteria for college students and requirements such as receiving Cal Grant A or B, working 20+ hours a week, etc (check out the whole list here ), but if you satisfy the criteria and any one of the requirements, all you have to do is fill out the 20 min application to get up to $204 a month for groceries.
