Case report A 68-year-old gentleman presented with recurrent attacks of acute abdominal pain, sometimes associated with vomiting and constipation, of about 3 months duration. Petersen’s defect was specified and herniation was reduced. After the reduction of the internal hernia, the total length of the small bowel was measured, which proved to be 695 cm at the time of the revision.
