WebJan 7, 2015 · Based on mtDNAplus (HVR1+HVR2) FTDNA gave me haplogroup H designation, but my nearest match was a H4a1a4b. Based on my own study of my matches, I believed that I was at least H4a1a. Being curious, I wanted to know if my "guess" was correct. When the full sequence results came, the designation was indeed H4a1a4b.
