If the position no longer exists (i.e. the civilization is truly extinct) then no monarch will be appointed until the civilization is "resurrected" (by retiring a fortress, for example). WebThat said, adding high quality goodies to any room will make it more appealing. Additionally, things like smoothed or engraved walls have an impact, as does over all size of room.
